Toyeeb Ibrahim

Toyeeb Ibrahim (also known as Ibrahim Ibitade) is a Nigerian fintech entrepreneur and founder. He co-founded Leatherback in 2019, serving as CEO until December 2024, where he built a cross-border payments platform processing over $200 million in transactions and expanding to multiple countries including UK, Canada, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Prior to Leatherback, he founded Versa Haven Resources (an agri-tech startup) and worked at AZA in business development. He grew up in Lagos in a family of traders, which exposed him to international trade challenges. In 2024, he launched Prune Payments, a new cross-border payments company. He is based in London, UK.
