
Thibaut Cathenoz is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Leya Labs, a fintech startup addressing liquidity challenges in Africa's mobile money ecosystem. Based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, he brings over 27 years of IT experience spanning distributed systems, digital banking, and enterprise architecture. He co-founded Leya in September 2018 and concurrently serves as President and Co-founder of TerraCycles/Cycles AJP since 2016. Prior to entrepreneurship, Thibaut spent over a decade at Société Générale (2011-2019), culminating as Lead IT Architect for Digital Banking, where he designed and implemented remote banking platforms. He began his career at Atos (1998-2002) and Aubay (2002-2011). Thibaut holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Business Management and completed HEC Paris Challenge+ Afrique program (2023-2024), winning the Best Business Plan award.
