Obasan Taiwo James-Yakub is a graduate of Economics; currently on a voyage in the FinTech space building the next financial titan in Africa with Fundall. - He has more than 3 years of relative experience in FinTech via Product Design & Management; UI/UX, Market research and funnel analysis, Data Analytics, Finance & Growth Hacking where he delivered over 7% week-on-week growth for 2 consecutive years and helped grow the user base to above 100,000 in 2 years. - 4.7 years of FMCG via Product Development, Sales and Business Development where he helped grow a new edible raw materials startup business into making a recurring revenue of 10,000,000 naira per month. - 3 years of Education/Employability via Product Design, Brand Development, Communications & Content Management where he help grow an employability academy from a class of 50 to an average of 200 per cohort with further expansion into EduTech. - If not working on Fintech, he explores Printing & Publishing (2011 till date) where he grew his printing firm into 3 different branches, MSME consultancy & Sound Engineering and has advised over 200 MSMEs to scale since 2013. He understands risk and very passionate about engaging in business activities, he has the philosophy that the higher the risk, the higher the reward in every business transaction, he started engaging in business activities from the tender age of 16.
