Simon Ng'ang'a

Simon Ng’ang’a is a seasoned business executive with a deep passion for tech-driven solutions. With over 13 years of corporate experience in Market Engagement and Customer Experience, he has consistently championed innovation and community impact. In 2018, he co-founded the PSV Safety Awards, a Community-Based Organization (CBO) aimed at transforming Kenya’s public transport sector. The initiative recognized exemplary drivers and crew with incentives like shopping vouchers and personal insurance, encouraging positive behavior change. The program garnered support from numerous corporate partners. A natural marketer, Simon is known for his strengths in sales, marketing, research, and people engagement, and is widely regarded as an opinion influencer within his networks. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he co-developed GOLEARN, a Learning Management System that enabled students to continue their education remotely—both online and offline. To support this, he also co-created GOPAY, a cashless payment gateway for tuition fees. That platform has since evolved into a broader fintech solution, now powering digital payments in Kenya’s public transport industry. Simon’s vision is to create scalable, tech-enabled solutions that uplift communities and expand across African cities.
