Sherif Taher

Sherif Taher is an Egyptian entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of NAQLA, Egypt's first trucking platform established in 2017 alongside co-founder Samer Sallam. With a background in architecture, Sherif spent over a decade working in the field before transitioning to logistics technology. He successfully raised $10.5 million in pre-Series A funding in 2022 and has grown Naqla into a 165-person organization operating in 35+ active zones across Egypt, having delivered 4.6 million tonnes of cargo. Prior to founding Naqla, he was a Partner at Math Architects and worked in business development. Sherif is recognized for driving digital transformation in Egypt's road freight sector.
