Sherif Shaltout

I am a professional in the field of information security who has been active in the Middle East region since 2002. Over my professional career, I worked for Internet Security Systems, IBM and SecureMisr. During those different stints, I worked as a sales engineer, consultant, delivery manager and a business development manager before joining SecureMisr in a role that combines elements from all my previous jobs in a bid to create the leading local information security company in the Middle East and Africa region. My work has taken me to different countries, in addition to Egypt, including Algeria and the Central African Republic in Africa, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Oman in the GCC, Jordan and Lebanon in the Levant region. Over the past few years, I have focused mainly on assisting customers with their compliance programs, particularly ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
