Biography

Shai Evian is a lifelong serial entrepreneur and CEO of Howler, an event technology platform that revolutionizes event planning, ticketing, and cashless payment solutions. With extensive experience in the events industry, he co-founded Howler in 2012 alongside Scott Witters, Simon Powell-Jackson, and Stephen Cuzen. He also co-founded LiquidChefs in 2003, a premium mobile bar service, and Lounge Around event service brand. Evian participated in the 2017 Barclays Accelerator/Techstars programme, where his company was named one of the 10 most promising startups in fintech. Known for his bold, unconventional leadership style and positive mindset, he successfully pivoted Howler during COVID-19 to online streaming and digital event platforms, managing a team of over 60 people while maintaining company culture.
