Sameh Saleh is the Founder of Hawaya (previously known as Harmonica). Hawaya was acquired by Match Group, the world’s leading provider of dating products. Under his leadership, Hawaya has expanded globally to over 12 countries. Hawaya was founded to help Muslims around the world find a life partner using mobile technology in a culturally and traditionally respectful way. Previously, Saleh worked as a senior engineer for eight years in Malaysia at Petronas HQ, a Fortune 500 company. He also founded Tripdizer, a leading travel tech company in MENA. Saleh is viewed as a symbol of inspiration and aspiration for rising stars in the Middle East and Africa entrepreneurial ecosystem. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Saleh moved to Malaysia to pursue higher education. He holds a Master of Reservoir Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia.
