Sacha Poignonnec

French-Canadian entrepreneur and business leader who co-founded Jumia in 2012, Africa's first unicorn and leading e-commerce platform. Served as Co-CEO until November 2022, building the company's presence across 14 African countries. Prior to Jumia, worked at McKinsey & Company (2007-2012) as Associate Partner specializing in packaged goods and retail sectors, and previously at Aon Accuracy (2005-2007) and Ernst & Young (2002-2004). Holds a Master's degree in Finance from EDHEC Business School (2002). Currently serves as Member of the Investment Advisor Board at Aldea Ventures, Chairman of the Board at Geev, and Founder of 2BX (all since 2023). Recognized as 2018 EDHEC Person of the Year.
