As an academic researcher with an expertise in the preservation of Traditional Crafts in Africa, a Creative Director, and a Policy Strategist, my work explores how heritage and design can drive income and ethical development. At the intersection of heritage, design, and ethical development, I created signature frameworks such as Exit Strategies in Artisan Communities. Care in Design and Restorative Futures. These guide institutions, brands and creatives in developing regenerative, people-centred practices. As Founder of Vanhu Vamwe and Co-Founder of 54Faces, I build models that connect artisan knowledge with global markets. I focus on training, cultural exchange, documentation, and design innovation that strengthen communities and position fashion as part of Africa’s economic future. I also mentor and coach emerging designers and established creatives through masterclasses and programmes on cultural sustainability, craft preservation and decolonised design. I am currently available for: • Research partnerships on cultural sustainability and traditional crafts • Guest lectures and curriculum design • Strategic consultancy on ethical fashion economies • Keynotes and panels on fashion, heritage, and development
