Omar Sakr

Dr. Omar Shoukry Sakr is the founder and CEO of Nawah Scientific, established in 2015 as the first private multidisciplinary biomedical research center in the Middle East and North Africa. He holds a pharmacy degree from Ain Shams University (2005), an MSc in Pharmaceutical Technology from German University in Cairo (2009), a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Geneva (2015), and an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School (2018). His career spans 18+ years in pharmaceutical sciences, including roles as a researcher at Capsulution Pharma AG in Berlin, assistant lecturer at GUC, and lecturer of entrepreneurship at Zewail City. Under his leadership, Nawah Scientific has grown from 4 scientists to over 130 across 32 labs in multiple countries, processing over 400,000 samples for 3,500+ clients across five countries.
