
Bernard drives business growth through strategic marketing initiatives. A key success factor to his accomplishments is enhancing the coordination between the sales and marketing teams through effective collaboration. This has led greatly to an increased brand awareness and growth in sales - everyone goes home happy. His take-ons include; consumer insights and perception, brand and marketing strategy, integrated Go-To-Market, demand generation campaigns, event management and of recent, social media management and PR. Ability to think critically amidst the COVID pandemic has made his team to redesign on-ground marketing executions to online campaigns thereby still supporting sales growth - Marketing was hit as consumers purchased based on availability rather than preference or referral. A recent graduate of the Greenlight Leadership Foundation Program, he believes continuous learning has a way of remodelling an individual for growth. Understanding oneself is a kick starter but understanding how to manage other people’s expectations and creating a direction for your team is the driving force of any successful leader - you can start the engine but you need all the other parts of the car to align to move. A lover of kids, still very passionate about child survival - a project he’s always keen to take on when the opportunity comes.
