Olajumoke Oduwole

I am a Techical Product Developer, Founder of KJK Africa, one of Nigeria’s leading Software Design and Development Company; and recently Co-founded a FinTech Company based on Traditional Banking Methods called Alajo. A Personal Finance platform for the underbanked and non-smart phone user Globally! At KJK, I led a team of tech experts to build IP (software) products for our clients, from research based on business analysis, to achieve market-fit products that can scale. In doing this, we generated $21m+ in revenue for our customers. I have also developed the expertise and experience to help non-tech businesses venture into the tech space with ready to market products and services with more than 15 years’ experience. At 15, I got a scholarship on Software Professionals by KarROX Technologies where I learnt 16 programming languages including OOPs with C++, Java, MySQL Server, ADO.net, VB.net, ASP.NET etc, but since then I focused on Front-end Web Development. I chose UX/UI and Frond-End Development- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP-Objects as my areas of specialty. At 18, I led a project called "PROJECT SECH", focusing on improving the use and Impact ICT in Lagos Secondary Schools, Nigeria. We were able to inculcate ICT developments in 6 schools impacting about 380 students between the ages of 12-16 years old. I led KJK Africa as one of the 20 businesses chosen out of 5,000 businesses from Africa, chosen to represent Africa at the "Bocconi for Africa” Conference by Universita Bocconi, Milan, Italy. I have also been trained on Entrepreneurship and Business Management in Eighteen (18) Topnotch Accelerator programs and enterprise development centers in Africa and Europe. Currently a Mentor at Venture Capital for Africa (VC4A), WIMBIZ, African ChangeMakers and CodeFest Nigeria. A GEMS Project Awardee; assisted by World Bank and UK’s DFID. I have obtained a B.Sc. and M.Sc in Systems Engineering, Major - Artificial Intelligence from the University of Lagos. I consider myself a life influencer, and I’m on a journey of bringing significant positive change to my generation through technology. This perception of who I am has continually fueled my relentless pursuit of excellence, some of which have been rewarded through invitations from local and international bodies.
