Nicolas Esteves

Nicolas Esteves is Co-Founder and CTO of NALA, a Y-Combinator and Accel-backed fintech company building payments infrastructure for emerging markets in Africa. He grew up in West Africa and brings over 12 years of fintech experience. Previously, he served as VP Engineering at Osper, Backend Engineer at Monzo Bank, and held positions at ComplyAdvantage, Typeform, and Mendeley. He is a Techstars London 2013 alumni and has mentored at Startupbootcamp FinTech, HACKcelerator, and Black Valley. At NALA, he leads the engineering, data, and fraud teams.
