Nick Quintong

Nick Quintong is an entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in clean energy, business development, and venture capital across African markets. He currently serves as Managing Director at M-Gas Kenya and Chief Commercial Officer at Delta40 Venture Studio, a pan-African venture capital fund. Nick is best known as co-founder and former CEO of PayGo Energy, which revolutionized LPG distribution in Kenya through smart meter technology and pay-as-you-go functionality. Under his leadership from 2015 to 2023, PayGo developed the Cylinder Smart Meter, enabling lower-income customers to access clean cooking fuel without high upfront costs. The company was successfully acquired by Sun King in 2023. Prior to entrepreneurship, Nick held commercial and business development roles at GE Healthcare and worked as a Kiva Fellow in Kenya supporting SMEs in microfinance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Southern California.
