Nasreen Ali Mohamed is a social tech entrepreneur passionate about technology and inclusion of low-income households, especially women and girls. She is the Founder and CEO of AFRIKAPU, a social enterprise that empowers marginalized women and youth in Africa's handicraft sector through skills training, market linkages, and financial inclusion. As Co-Founder and CFO of Cherehani Africa (2015-2023), she leveraged mobile technology to provide credit and financial education to over 17,000 women microentrepreneurs in rural Kenya, with 54% doubling their income. A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, French Africa Young Leader, and Mandela Washington Fellow, Nasreen holds degrees from Harvard, University of York, University of Sunderland, and Dartmouth College. Her mission is to give disadvantaged women a voice through business growth and sustainable development.
