A green technology NERD whose career has been devoted to commercializing nouvelle and sustainable technologies for the MEA region. I currently serve as the CEO of Plug'n'Grow, a startup that develops and installs advanced agriculture systems for commercial-scale growers in addition to providing technical support and management software for their facilities. Plug'n'Grow is working on transforming the concepts and perception of agriculture in the MEA market, propelling this sector into a highly-industrialized, efficient, and sustainable one. I have served as the co-founding CEO of agrimatic farms LLC, which is an agri-production company focusing on soil-less Hydroponic and Aquaponic Agriculture farming, with a high-tech and mass-production approach. Agrimatic's work focuses on providing high-quality chemical-free vegetables and fruits at prices that are affordable by a wide market strata rather than just the high-purchasing power consumers. Altogether while saving up to 90% of water consumption compared to traditional methods. Agrimatic farms has successfully raised over USD 1.5 Mn in equity investment so far over 2 rounds, and is now working on vastly expanding its basket of products. I am also a co-founder of Zon Gardens LLC, which focuses on progressive concepts integrating sustainability and green technologies into the economy. The company also works on promoting green innovation, with great focus on the area of commercialized green tech through creating open innovation spaces, access to labs and machinery workshops, access to technical support and consultancy to GreenTech startups and individual private researchers. I have also served as the the CEO and Co-founder of “Zon-Solutions”, an Egyptian joint-stock company working in the field of renewable energy solutions with a main focus on Solar Energy, where I was actively engaged in providing innovative cost-efficient alternative energy solutions, in addition to raising the low levels of public awareness about solar energy and its realistic applications.
