Born August 27, 1961 in Niger to Malian parents with a long tradition in commerce and trading, Mossadeck Bally is a Panafrican entrepreneur, coach and mentor. He is the Founder and CEO of Groupe Azalaï Hôtels, West Africa's first private African hotel chain. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, he returned to Mali to work in his family's import-export business for 10 years. In 1994, he founded the Société Malienne de Promotion Hôtelière and acquired the Grand Hôtel de Bamako. He consolidated properties under the Azalaï Hotels brand in 2005, expanding across West Africa to 10+ properties in six countries, employing over 700 people directly and 2,000 indirectly. Since October 2022, he serves as President of the National Council of Malian Employers (CNPM). He received the 2011 African Development Bank's African Business Leadership Award.
