Michael Shynar

Michael Shynar is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Kulipa, a Paris-based fintech startup pioneering stablecoin-native card issuing infrastructure. Based in London, he brings over two decades of engineering leadership experience from Google and WhatsApp, where he scaled teams and built global commerce solutions. At Google, he served as a Staff Software Engineer for 8 years before moving to WhatsApp, where he led the development of WhatsApp's Commerce Platform as Senior Software Engineering Manager for nearly 4 years. Prior to his tech career, he served as an Engineer and Engineering Manager in the Israel Defense Forces. At Kulipa, Michael focuses on enabling non-custodial wallets to issue payment cards accepted worldwide, bridging digital assets with traditional payment networks.
