Martin Esson Benjamin

Martin Eson-Benjamin is the former CEO of the Millennium Development Authority of Ghana (MiDA), overseeing Ghana's Millennium Challenge Account Programme. He began his career at Kumasi Brewery Ltd (1972-1981), then joined Unilever Ghana Limited (1982-1995), rising to Marketing Director. He rejoined Ghana Breweries Limited in 1995, serving as Managing Director and later Chairman for 9 years. He has held numerous board positions including Chairman of Multimedia Broadcasting Company Ltd, Ghana Agro Foods Company, and the College of Health Sciences at University of Ghana. He served as Director of Ecobank Plc, Enterprise Group Plc, CFAO Ghana Plc, and other organizations. He was awarded Marketing Man of the Year (1984) and Officer of the National Order of the Volta (2008).
