Mark O'Keefe

Mark O'Keefe is a product and service designer with over 8 years of experience launching innovative products and services in East Africa. He co-founded PayGo Energy in 2016, developing pay-as-you-go LPG solutions for clean cooking in informal settlements. Following PayGo Energy's acquisition by Sun King, he serves as Head of Cooking and Carbon, scaling clean cooking technology and carbon credit programs across the region. Prior to PayGo Energy, he led the research division at Sanergy, a sanitation supply chain company in Nairobi. He holds an MSc in Humanitarian Studies from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
