As a visionary designer, builder, and problem solver, I am passionate about harnessing technology to drive business growth in Africa. I am the Co-Founder of Chpter, where we create innovative commerce tools that empower online businesses across the continent. Today, Chpter supports over 1,000 businesses in Kenya and South Africa and has raised over $1,000,000 in venture capital funding from global investors. Before Chpter, I co-founded Carren, a groundbreaking credit scoring solution that enabled financial institutions to provide financing to SMEs. Within 24 months, Carren was acquired by a microfinance institution, highlighting our rapid success and impact. My professional journey began as a Design Consultant at Boogertman + Partners Architects, the largest architectural firm in Africa. I hold a first-class honors degree in Architecture from the University of Nairobi and have also studied at the University of Pescara in Italy. Driven by a commitment to create value and opportunities for over 100 million small and medium-sized businesses in Africa, I am excited about the continent's potential to leapfrog into a prosperous future.
