M Kwinda

Dr Munyadziwa Kwinda is a highly qualified medical specialist in Family Medicine with unique expertise at the intersection of medicine, ethics, and law. He holds qualifications including MBChB, MMed Fam Med, MSc Med Bioethics and Health Law, and LLB. With over 20 years of professional experience, he has held senior leadership positions in healthcare regulation and governance. He currently serves as CEO of Tshiamiso Trust (since June 2023), and previously served as Acting Registrar/CEO and Ombudsman at the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). His career includes roles as Board Member and National Councillor for the South African Medical Association, Vice-Chairperson of the Medical and Dental Professions Board at HPCSA, and member of various governance committees. He is recognized as an expert in bioethics and health law with extensive experience in clinical care and executive management.
