Larbi is a seasoned tech entrepreneur with an impressive 20-year track record in the digital industry. In 2022, he embarked on his latest venture, YoLaFresh, a groundbreaking tech platform that serves as a direct link between small-holder farmers and traditional retailers of fresh produce. With a primary objective of cutting out intermediaries along the food supply chain, YoLaFresh enables retailers to reduce costs while ensuring that farmers receive a greater share of profits more efficiently. Prior to YoLaFresh, Larbi held key positions in the prestigious Jumia Group, where he spearheaded various successful ventures. Notably, he founded Jumia Express Logistics, a comprehensive logistics enterprise spanning multiple African countries and offering parcel delivery, line-haul, and warehousing solutions. Additionally, Larbi served as the CEO for Jumia E-Commerce, Jumia Food, and Jumia Pay in Morocco, where he played a pivotal role in establishing Jumia as the leading e-commerce platform in the country. His visionary leadership also gave birth to Jumia Advertising, an innovative digital advertising service on Jumia's platforms. In 2012, Larbi achieved remarkable success by founding Avito.ma, the premier online classifieds site in Morocco, which became part of Adevinta (formerly Schibsted). For five years, Avito.ma flourished under his leadership, revolutionizing the classifieds landscape in the country. Larbi's entrepreneurial journey commenced in 2005 with the founding of TheMafiaBoss.com, a pioneering social games company that captivated a staggering two million registered players worldwide. The game achieved widespread popularity and ranked among the top 500 most visited websites globally. Before venturing into the realm of startups, Larbi honed his expertise through diverse experiences. He contributed his knowledge and skills to Accenture, where he excelled in consulting and project management, and also showcased his proficiency in software development during his tenure at Oracle. Larbi's educational background boasts an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, one of the world's leading business schools, and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from McGill University, cementing his solid foundation in both technology and management.
