Jon Jacobson

I’m a software engineer and entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience in designing and automating software platforms. I co-founded Omnisient in 2014 and we specialize in secure data sharing. Our business was founded on the belief that data privacy is central to creating a sustainable data economy. We follow the core principle of privacy by design in line with GDPR standards, and the PoPI Act in South Africa, to ensure that all our solutions are designed with compliance and privacy in mind. I believe that success is a team sport. My core role at Ominisient is to align our business goals with our technology strategy, ensure it's fit for purpose and that it meets customer needs. My vision for Omnisient is that we take our African technology know-how and innovation to the global market and, in the process, help thousands of businesses across the world to collaborate and grow.
