John Waibochi

John Waibochi is the founder and CEO of Virtual City Group (Virtual City Limited and Virtual Mobile), a leading mobile software firm in Kenya. He has over 18 years of experience in Kenya's tech sector and has been working in mobile communications since 1994. With a degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University, Waibochi has established himself as a technology innovator, specializing in developing mobile software solutions for supply chain automation, mobile commerce, knowledge management, and cashless transaction systems. Under his leadership, Virtual City has won multiple international awards, including the Nokia Growth Economy Venture Challenge in 2010.
