Jenny is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ariya Finergy, designing, installing, managing and financing solar PV, BESS, power stabilisation solutions for industry. Under her leadership, Ariya Finergy has consistently doubled or tripled year on year to become a clear leader in the B2B clean energy, BESS, power stabilisation and financing space in East Africa. Ariya Finergy is providing economic and sustainable solutions to clients in many industries including agriculture, manufacturing, textiles, packaging, universities and malls. Managing 20+MW of Solar and 15+MWhr of batteries with 55+ projects installed, Ariya Finergy is daily impacting thousands of lives. Ariya Finergy's outstanding achievements have been recognised via a number of awards, in 2023 it was awarded the Solar Company of the Year and in 2022 it was won the award 'EPC of the Year' at the Industry Leadership Awards held by Solar Quarter. Jenny serves on a number of boards, including Ariya Finergy, Ariya Capital Group, Entrepreuners Organisation Kenya and Walvis Gas Port. She is also a founding member, and was on the board of Woman Corporate Director's, Kenya Chapter. A successful leader, she has successfully founded, grown and managed numerous businesses across 32 countries with a focus on Africa. Her contribution to the renewable energy sector has been recognised globally a number of times as shown below: - In 2023 she was recognised as one of the most powerful solar leaders in the Power 100 awards - In 2022 at the Solar Quarter, Grand Masters Awards she was recognised as the Woman Leader of the Year. - In 2021 at the Africa Energy Forum in London, the African Solar Industry Association recognised her as the "Woman in Solar of the Year". - In 2015 she was nominated as an “Outstanding Woman in Power” in East Africa. - 2014 she was named “One of the top 60 most influential figures in East and West African power”.
