Jay Alabraba is co-founder and Director of Business Development at Paga, Nigeria's largest mobile payments service. He has over two decades of work experience spanning high-tech, pharmaceutical, and financial services sectors. Before founding Paga in 2010, Jay was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in New York and later led an M&A unit at BGL Plc in Lagos. Earlier in his career, he was a program manager at Microsoft (1999-2004) and accepted a fellowship at Eli Lilly managing pharmaceutical marketing projects. He holds an MBA from Stanford GSB (2007) and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (cum laude) from Ohio State University. Jay is a sector-agnostic angel investor, partner at Kernel Fund, and serves as Chairman of ALMPO. He is passionate about improving education and developing real estate for lower-income families.
