Jason Basel

Jason Basel is an entrepreneur and community builder currently working on engineering belonging at OPUS, a global founder community. He is an exited tech founder-CEO who co-founded EduOne (later rebranded to FundiConnect) in 2015, a suite of digital education platforms addressing key deficiencies in the education ecosystem. The company was acquired by Fundi in 2020. He also founded the Akro Organisation, a non-profit bringing together entrepreneurial minds to solve global problems. Basel studied Finance at the University of Cape Town (2011-2014) and has held leadership roles including Co-Founder at Kintro, Head of Growth at HumansApp, and Founder Success at Helm. He is recognized as a 'Leader of Tomorrow' by the St. Gallen Symposium.
