Jacques du Plessis is an entrepreneur at heart with a love for IT, and specialises in deriving value for clients from system development, problem solving and process optimisation in the following sectors: • Agriculture • Logistics • Human Capital & HR Sector • Hospitality Sector • ICT and Retail Sectors • Field Marketing and In-field Operations Obtaining a certificate in business management through UNISA in 1996 after matriculating he started working in the family owned businesses to gain ground up exposure in business operations. Jacques moved into the corporate environment from 2001 initially gaining experience in retail management and then moved into the ICT space working with blue chip clients like Vodacom. Jacques headed up the Vodacom Field Marketing division at Beyond Outsourcing managing a team of 150 staff. (Field Staff and Back Office operations). The account serviced 6500 National Chain stores, as well as 10 000 in the informal market. Jacques is a co-founder and Managing Director of FarmTrace (Pty) Ltd
