Ignatious Nkwinika

Ignatious "Iggy" Nkwinika is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of InvestSure, a South African insurtech startup established in 2017. He designed and built the InvestSure technology platform from scratch, creating a world-first insurance product that protects shareholders from losses caused by management fraud and dishonesty. With over 14 years of experience as an IT Solutions Architect, including more than 6 years specializing in insurance technology, Iggy has held senior technical roles at Hannover Reinsurance Africa (Solutions Architect and Senior Software Developer) and earlier positions at Silica and Telkom. He holds a BSc IT in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, and Quantitative techniques from the University of South Africa.
