Iain Stevenson founded Communication Solutions (Pty) Ltd (Comsol) in 1997 after identifying a gap in the fledgling wireless telecommunications market in South Africa. Stevenson has subsequently grown the company from a small, single regional business to an accredited market leader and specialist in building customised terrestrial wireless access infrastructure for companies, government entities and parastatals of all sizes, across all sectors. Comsol currently has an extensive national footprint that spans every province in South Africa and many other parts of Africa. Today, Stevenson’s role as CEO of Comsol is to manage and guide the overall direction of the business and to develop its strategic vision in order to ensure that the company continues its organic growth.
