Herman Kotze

Herman Kotze is a South African chartered accountant with extensive financial leadership experience in fintech and financial services. He served as Chief Executive Officer of NET1 UEPS Technologies from May 2017 to September 2020, leading the company's transition and strategic initiatives. Prior to his CEO role, he was CFO, Secretary and Treasurer from June 2004 to February 2018, overseeing financial operations during significant company growth. His earlier career included roles as Group Financial Director at Aplitec (2000-2004), Business Analyst at Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, and Audit Manager at KPMG where he completed his articles. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
