
Henri Nyakarundi is CEO and Founder of ARED Group, pioneering edge-powered internet and renewable energy solutions across Africa. Born in Rwanda and raised in Burundi, he moved to the US in 1996 to study computer science at Georgia State University, graduating in 2003. After a decade building trucking and construction businesses in the US and Burundi, he returned to Africa in 2013 to launch ARED full-time. He developed solar-powered kiosks and micro-data centers providing digital connectivity and phone charging in underserved areas. A serial social entrepreneur, speaker, author of My African Dream, and mentor focused on entrepreneurship, renewable energy, innovation, and technology impact.
