Henk Van Bemmelen

Henk van Bemmelen is a security industry stalwart with over 30 years dedicated to fighting crime in South Africa. Starting as an armed response officer with Sandton Sentry Security in 1991, he worked his way up through Klipton Group (later ADT under Tyco International) to operations manager in Durban. He joined Blue Security as operations director in 2011, became managing director in 2014, and was appointed CEO in October 2018. Van Bemmelen is passionate about leveraging technology and innovation in security, regularly visiting international tech shows to stay ahead of industry trends.
