
He is an entrepreneur and hospitality strategist with more than two decades of experience across African travel, tourism, technology, hospitality, and entrepreneurship. He is one of the two founders of HotelOnline, a travel technology company helping hotels across Africa grow through digital marketing, distribution, revenue management, and access to online travel demand. Over the years, he has led growth, partnerships, market expansion, acquisitions, and brand positioning, completing 11 international mergers and acquisitions and helping build HotelOnline into one of Africa’s most visible travel technology platforms. His career has taken him across more than 25 African countries, with experience spanning Kenya, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Europe, and Asia. Before moving fully into hospitality and travel technology, he worked in international telecommunications, leading African markets for companies including Vyke and Upstream. He advises hospitality investors, developers, founders, and international companies on growth, market entry, partnerships, capital raising, positioning, and commercial strategy. He has helped hospitality developments secure international operators and brands and has raised several million dollars for HotelOnline from investors across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, including strategic investment from South Korean travel technology company Yanolja. He is also a recognised voice in African tourism, hospitality innovation, travel technology, investment, and entrepreneurship, having spoken at platforms including AfricaCom, the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum, Africa Youth in Tourism Summit, Africa MICE Summit, and Africa TravelTech Summit.
