Hasnain Noorani

Hasnain Noorani is the Owner, Founder and Group Managing Director of the PrideGROUP that consists of several companies with the flagship being PrideInn Hotels & Conferencing. He also speaks on several topics, a trainer and a motivational speaker. Hasnain graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first class honors in Manufacturing Engineering & Management. Having identified a gap in 3/4 Star Hotel Chain in Kenya due to his wide travelling, he felt the need to fill the gap. He had a concept of “five star services at 3 star value”. 2011 saw the opening of the first 28 room hotel in Nairobi after the first 2 years of challenges. After a successful 6 months, Hasnain embarked on an expansion programme. Over a span of 9 years he opened a total of 9 hotels with over 900 room nights catering to 4 different market segments to include PrideInn Express (Budget Brand), PrideInn Business (Business Brand), PrideInn Suites (long stay) and PrideInn Plus (Luxury & Business Brand). He prides to have a “Global Feel With Kenyan Soul” in every Hotel of PrideInn. Hasnain is always up to the challenge of identifying and fulfilling gaps in the market. It is due to his entrepreneurial spirit that in just over a period of 5 years, he managed to establish various other individually run profitable companies to include PrideInn Hotels & Resorts, PrideDRIVE, PrideFUELS, Cake City, Pride Conference Centre (Nairobi), Paradise Convention Centre (Mombasa), Muthaiga Business Centre, PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort And Spa (Mombasa), Buffets By PrideInn, Royal Kitchen Multi Cuisine Restaurants & Glory Safaris. Hasnain believes in delegating and empowering his team members, who he credits for the great success of his portfolio companies.
