Gloria Kaguo is a serial entrepreneur passionate about education, fintech, retail, and health. She is skilled in strategy, product development, research, and management. In 2019, Kaguo co-founded Kweza Technologies, a retail-tech platform that enables informal retailers (Spaza shops) in South Africa to source inventory at competitive prices through collective buying with direct delivery. She worked as Product and Marketing Lead at Kweza from 2019-2022. From 2016-2018, she served as Operations Manager for Apps and Girls and as a Counselor for Girl Up (United Nations Foundation) in 2017. In 2018, she was one of 52 Africans awarded a full scholarship to study Software Entrepreneurship at MEST Africa. Currently, she works as a Project Manager at ENGG Consulting Engineers and is a Fintech Product Manager Fellow at Venture for Africa.
