George Manyere

George Manyere is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur, investment banker, and founder of Brainworks Capital Management (2008), GetCash Private Limited, Invest Solar Africa, and MHMK Capital Ltd. He served as Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group, investing over $600 million in sub-Saharan Africa and managing a portfolio exceeding $400 million. Previously, he was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at ADC African Development Corporation. Under his leadership, Brainworks achieved $162.8 million in assets and 1,200 employees, closing $500 million in corporate advisory deals. He listed Brainworks as the first Zimbabwean company on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG Zimbabwe. He holds a Bachelor's and Honours degree in Accounting Science from University of South Africa, completed Harvard Business School's General Management Program, and is a member of the London Stock Exchange Africa Advisory Group.
