I'm Geophrey Tenganamba, the CEO and Founder of MazaoHub Precision Agriculture Inc. My passion for agriculture runs deep. You could say I'm a farmer at heart – not just a leader – with over 9 years of experience getting my hands dirty and facing the challenges farmers encounter every day. This experience, combined with working with leading organizations and top players in agriculture sector from farmer cooperatives to food companies as a consultant, manager and more; fuels MazaoHub's mission. It's not just about creating innovative solutions, it's about making sure they're practical and profitable for farmers. My journey in agriculture started when i was just a child. My parents were smallholder farmers and i was raised as a smallholder farmer. I have faced challenges as smalholder farmer myself. This fueled my dedication to the agricultural and climate sectors. That's why I'm deeply entrenched in both. At MazaoHub, I leverage my expertise in AI for agriculture, climate technology, and soil health solutions. We use locally-developed soil kits to gather comprehensive climate data on weather, soil moisture, crop health, water usage, and plant conditions. This real-time information is then fed into our AI engine. The magic happens here. MazaoHub analyzes all this data to provide farmers with personalized recommendations. This includes what soil amendments they need, how much inputs to use, water management strategies, weather forecasts, and even agronomy guides – from land prep to harvest and storage. My experience in business strategy and digital marketing from my previous ventures like UjuziNet, Fursa 101, EMASUITE Business Automation and AdBox Digital Inc. But here's the thing that truly sets me apart: I'm not just an expert, I'm a farmer myself. I'm passionate about climate action and what it means for small-scale farming. This firsthand experience allows me to not only develop solutions but also understand how to make them work for MazaoHub's climate farm and soil health systems – ensuring both commercial success and a healthier future for agriculture.
