
Fatoumata Bâ is a Senegalese tech entrepreneur and venture capital investor, born in 1986 in Dakar. She is the Founder & Executive Chair of Janngo and Managing Partner of Janngo Capital, focusing on building and investing in pan-African tech for good champions with inclusive social impact. She is also Chairwoman of the Board of Auchan in Africa. Previously, she founded and led Jumia Côte d'Ivoire, served as Managing Director of Jumia Nigeria, and was a member of Jumia's Group Executive Committee, playing a pivotal role in the company's expansion across Africa. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Senior Consultant at Atos Consulting. She holds degrees from Toulouse Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. Fatoumata is passionate about leapfrogging development in Africa through technology, particularly in women's entrepreneurship, SME growth, medtech, and edtech.
