Esther Wanjiru Kimani is the founder and CEO of Farmer Lifeline Technologies, a Kenyan agritech startup founded in 2019 that uses AI and machine learning to help smallholder farmers detect crop pests and diseases early. A computer scientist from Tigoni, Kenya, she developed solar-powered agricultural devices that have directly and indirectly impacted thousands of farmers across seven counties in Kenya, achieving 40% yield increases and 33% loss reduction. She is a trailblazer in ClimaTech Agriculture in Africa, driven by the passion to transform marginalized smallholder farmers' lives using renewable energy, AI, and machine learning.
