Eric Genetre is a French entrepreneur and co-founder & CEO of CoinAfrique, the leading mobile-first classifieds marketplace in Francophone Africa. Founded in 2016, CoinAfrique operates in 12+ markets across French-speaking Africa. With expertise in digital strategy and mobile technology, Genetre previously held management positions at Orange (Head of Mobile Multimedia, Director of Mobile Games) and Canal+ in their digital and new media departments. He holds a degree from Telecom Paris and is driven by the conviction that mobile technology is the primary tool for economic transformation in Africa. In 2022, CoinAfrique was acquired by Autochek to expand their footprint in Francophone Africa.
