Curious and biased for action are the traits that define me best. After 6 extremely formative and fun years at Unilever in Italy and South Africa, I decided to get more experience in the digital world, so I joined Gorilla Creative Media to get first-hand experience in the creative digital agency. This experience as Business Unit Director and Board member allowed me to get invaluable experience in managing a high number of people and get exposed to a range of tasks spanning across several disciplines including client management, marketing, finance and HR. While I was at Gorilla I started conceptualising my own business out of a deep desire to experience what it takes to build and scale a tech business and in 2016, after a successful pitch with the popular business reality TV show Shark Tank, I joined the business full time. Never easy to jump ship for what you believe and love, but always worth it! I have always been excited by the potential that lies with emerging markets, so I focused my study and work career to that. This investment yielded great results and gave me the opportunity to get multiple experiences across India and various African Countries. With my current position on BOTTLES I am also experiencing what it takes to scale a tech start-up and disrupt a market where technology was virtually absent, can I ask for more?
