I'm a backend engineer and I love to learn new technologies that make my work easier and more fun. I'm very familiar with a few technologies and I'm constantly adding more to my toolbox; I'm also very familiar with most of the popular cloud PaaS providers (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud). I've had the opportunity to work with some of the following technologies: Javascript (VueJs, jQuery, Vanilla) PHP (Vanilla, Laravel) Java (building mobile apps on the Blackberry platform) Python (command-line tools, Flask: building RESTful APIs) Bash (shell scripting) Erlang (building web apps using the ChicagoBoss framework; also maintain the erlang_postmarkapp package) I've also worked on Software for a few platforms / OSes RIM Blackberry OS Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, RHEL) - shell scripts, web apps Over the course of my career, I've worked with a few database engines as well Microsoft SQL Server MySQL Oracle Finally, with regards to continuous deployment, for automation tools, I always default to Ansible.
