Edward Grandstaff

Edward Grandstaff is a computer engineer with expertise in development and digital strategy. He currently serves as Chief Digital Officer at Western Bulk, a dry bulk shipping company. Previously, he was Co-Founder and CTO of Redbird Health Tech (2018-2022), a Ghana-based healthtech startup that enabled pharmacies to add rapid diagnostic testing services. His earlier career includes roles as General Manager of Commercial Systems at Pacific Basin Shipping in Hong Kong (2015-2018) and Senior Consultant at Veson Nautical (2011-2015). Grandstaff served in the Peace Corps around 2004, and later taught as Assistant Director of Middle School and Language Arts Teacher at Huijia Education Organization in China (2007-2011). He is a passionate advocate for helping people use technologies to achieve better outcomes.
