With a background in Financial Technology from the University of Cape Town, Derick is passionate about solving everything data-related to financial inclusion. At Black Swan, he is building embedded and open financing systems that translate informal financial behavior into actionable insights—empowering lenders, fintechs, and underserved communities across Africa.
