David Peterside is a technology entrepreneur and co-founder of Okra, Nigeria's open banking infrastructure platform that raised over $16 million from investors including TLcom Capital, Accenture Ventures, and Susa Ventures. He served as Chief Operating Officer from 2019 to 2022, helping build Africa's API infrastructure for financial services. Prior to Okra, he founded Fashion Map, a platform connecting users with African fashion designers and tailors. He also founded Vocoa, an agri-tech mobile app for West African cocoa farmers, backed by the World Bank Group, UN's International Trade Centre, and World Cocoa Foundation. He began his career as a Tech Analyst at UCML Capital. David graduated from Lancaster University Ghana in 2017 with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Computer Science.
