Crispin Murira

Kenyan-born serial entrepreneur with extensive expertise in start-up and growth executive leadership. After earning a B.A. in Economics and Physics from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Crispin worked in investment banking in the United States before returning to Kenya in 2012. He founded Copia Global, a consumer goods catalog and delivery service for Base of the Pyramid consumers, serving as Founding CEO from 2012-2017. He subsequently held roles as Executive Vice President of Innovations and Digital Commerce, and Chief Commercial Officer before becoming Strategic Advisor. His core competencies include general management, building high-performance teams, strategic planning, driving innovation, and leading growth. He focuses on ideating high-value revenue streams, business model migration across countries, and leveraging distribution networks for scale.
