Chinezi Chijioke is the co-founder and CEO of Nova Pioneer Education Group, a Pan-African network of 21st-century private schools operating in South Africa and Kenya. He emigrated from Nigeria to the United States at age 14. He began his career as a secondary school mathematics teacher before joining McKinsey & Company, where he led the African Education Practice for eight years and co-authored the 2010 global education report "How the World's Best School Systems Keep Getting Better." He founded Nova Pioneer in 2014, launching the first campus in 2015. He serves on the Global Advisory Council of Teach For All and is a board member of African Leadership Academy, Imagine Worldwide, and Jakes Gerwel Teacher Fellowship. He is a Fellow of the tenth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative - South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
